If you haven't heard, we bought a paddleboarding brand and relaunched it in January 2026. The brand, known for premium boards and beautiful art, appealed to us in more ways than one. As a family that has traveled in an RV for years - at one point living in our RV on the road for over five years, we know what it's like to love water and find it difficult to haul enough kayaks for everyone. That's where inflatable paddleboards filled a gap.
When I am traveling in the hers camper, there is minimal room for extras after bikes. My monster truck is way too large for me to try to climb up and secure kayaks. You and I both know we aren't piling kayaks outside of the camper.
So, paddleboards.
I currently have five paddleboards, multiple pumps and paddles, and various other accessories in my little 32' camper. I could not have pulled that off with kayaks.

We are working our way towards Isle Royale National Park, but stopping along the way to enjoy various waterways, or in Michigan, known as the Water Trail. While we won't be enjoying a river float (logistics with a 10 year old, dog, and watercraft in an Uber is just a hard no for me), we are loving the crystal clear water in Lake Michigan and the many, many lakes that are inland.

Eliana was trying out a prototype board for kids today. The paddleboard she is on in these images is just 9' long and it worked out perfectly for her. She will most likely graduate up to the 10' 6" board in the near future.

Our Paddleboard Trip Was Cut Short Due to Wildfires
Please check back for more about paddleboarding Michigan. Despite our plans to spend a month exploring Michigan lakes, rivers, and other amazing locations, wild fires forced us to leave prematurely due to air quality concerns. The three days we spent in Michigan aren't even a scratch on the surface of possibilities. We'll be back Michigan.
